Sonso of Cosmic Girls surprised Korean fans with a greatly changed visual during her activities in China. Recently, several recent photos of Sonso were released mainly in online communities, surprising fans with a look completely different from when she was active in Korea. The released photos showed her appearance with significant swelling around her eyes, nose, and mouth. She had her bangs down and wore smoky makeup, making it difficult to distinguish her facial features. The relevant photos were taken on July 19 of this year during a music festival, where Chinese fans also engaged in various discussions regarding her appearance. Some raised suspicions of plastic surgery, but according to Chinese media, Sonso was recently prescribed medication for low blood pressure, which caused swelling as a side effect.
