&TEAM successfully completed its first group activities in the United States, which it carried out in Los Angeles in August. With its 3rd EP "We on Fire," released this April, &TEAM has been steadily increasing its presence in the global market, including ranking at No. 52 on Billboard 200, the main U.S. Billboard album chart, the first and highest position ever for a Japanese boy group. That response is also reflected in the growth of local streaming figures. In particular, since their Korean debut in October last year, their listener base has expanded, and the title track "Back to Life" recorded its highest listener numbers in the U.S., about 2.4 times on Spotify and about 3.8 times on Apple Music compared with the previous title track "Go in Blind (Moon Wolf)." In this U.S. activity, which was realized in response to the strong expectations and strong requests of local fans, &TEAM appeared at an event at the GRAMMY Museum(R) and at "KCON LA 2026" and performed. The long-awaited first U.S. performance at the GRAMMY Museum &TEAM's memorable first stage in the United States was realized at the special event "Global Spin Live: &TEAM," held on August 12 at the "GRAMMY Museum," established in Los Angeles by the Recording Academy, which hosts the Grammy Awards. Tickets sold out as soon as sales began, and on the day they performed a total of five songs, including "Go in blind (Korean ver.)" and "Deer Hunter (Korean ver.)," before an audience of 200 people. During "Big suki," sung in Japanese, there was also a scene where local fans sang along. In response to the performance, moderator Emily Mei said, "I have never said this before, but it may have been the best performance I have ever seen." The talk and performance are scheduled to be released later on the GRAMMY Museum's official YouTube. A stunning stage at "KCON LA 2026"! Billboard also praised them as "performance monsters" On the 14th, they appeared at "KCON LA 2026" and performed a total of six songs, including "Go in Blind," at the "ARTIST STAGE" in the LA Convention Center. They livened up the venue with synchronized dance and a dance corner. On the following "M COUNTDOWN STAGE" at Crypto.com Arena, they performed "Rush" and "Deer Hunter (Korean ver.)," captivating a large audience. Regarding "Deer Hunter," which is especially popular in the U.S., there were reactions from local fans on social media such as, "It may be the most intense performance they have ever shown." Also, on Korean public broadcaster KBS, along with footage of "KCON LA 2026," interviews with fans who traveled all the way from New York to Los Angeles to see &TEAM and stage footage were introduced. Furthermore, during the stage MC segment, EJ and NICHOLAS said, "Four years ago we came to LA to see senior BTS (BTS) perform. At that time we were only imagining, 'Could I ever stand on a stage in LA someday?' But thanks to all of you, that dream really came true!" and the audience gave them a huge cheer. In addition, a special collaboration stage with HYBE's Latin pop group "SANTOS BRAVOS" was realized. After performing BTS's song "2.0" in &TEAM's own style, they closed the finale with "Permission to Dance" together with SANTOS BRAVOS. The audience gave a huge cheer to the performance, which was full of unity between two groups with different languages and backgrounds. Regarding the series of performances at "KCON LA," U.S. Billboard reported, "&TEAM Proved Why They're Performance Monsters at KCON LA," and praised the synchronized dance in which the nine members moved together like one "stage beast." The music media outlet "InMusic" also highly praised the powerful live vocals and precise dancing by &TEAM and SANTOS BRAVOS, and featured it as "one of Friday's standout moments." Surprise interactions at a one-day clerk event and street event at "hello82 LA" &TEAM also interacted with local fans offstage. More than 1,000 fans gathered and formed long lines for an event held on August 11 at the music and entertainment specialty shop "hello82 LA." About 500 fans participated in combined events such as a "one-day clerk event" and a "game event," and the members served customers as "one-day clerks," handling the register and serving drinks, and also shared time with fans through pair-based gesture games, group singalongs of songs, and TikTok filming. In addition, on the 13th they made a surprise drop-in appearance at the street event "Random Play Dance" hosted by The Hallyuverse. When the nine members appeared at this event, where K-pop fans dance improvisationally on the street, the venue was filled with loud cheers. In addition to their own songs such as "Deer Hunter (Korean ver.)," "Big suki," "Rush," "Lunatic," and "Back to Life," the members danced together with participants to songs by other K-pop artists. They deepened their interaction with local fans across language and borders by exchanging high-fives and more. Toward further growth as a global group Having taken a further step toward global expansion through their first U.S. activities, &TEAM will run through the Asian tour "2026 &TEAM CONCERT TOUR 'BLAZE THE WAY'" (Kuala Lumpur on the 19th, Singapore on the 22nd), and then is scheduled to make a comeback with the KR 2nd Mini Album "Mark on Me" on September 8. Attention is gathering on &TEAM's future activities as they continue to expand their global reach.
