Lisa from BLACKPINK has been listed as a casting candidate for the live-action version of 'Rapunzel' alongside Hollywood actor Scarlett Johansson. Recently, overseas media such as 'Times of India' reported that as Disney is advancing the live-action adaptation of the animated film 'Tangled', Lisa is being considered for the lead role. According to this, Disney is focusing on casting new stars after many of its live-action films, such as 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Snow White', were unsuccessful. Therefore, Lisa from the globally popular group BLACKPINK is mentioned for the role of Rapunzel, with Scarlett Johansson as Gothel. In February of this year, Lisa made her acting debut as Mook in the HBO drama 'The White Lotus' Season 3. Based on this, she signed a contract with the large Hollywood agency WME and is reported to be considering various global series and film appearances, including Netflix movies. The live-action version of 'Tangled' was temporarily halted in April, but production has recently resumed. During this process, it was revealed that Michael Gracey, who directed 'The Greatest Showman', will take the helm. Prior to Lisa, Florence Pugh and Sydney Sweeney were also mentioned as candidates for the role of 'Rapunzel'.
