Unus, who was active as MYTEEN, started a new life as a flight attendant after his discharge. Unus debuted in 2015 with the group NPI's single 'Vampire' and re-debuted as MYTEEN in 2017. MYTEEN, consisting of members like Cheongjin, Unus, Kim Guk-hon, Junseop, Song Yubin, and Hansul, gained attention but ended their activities in 2019 after about two years, deciding to go their separate ways and disband. Unus, who served as the leader, stated at the time, 'With love and expectations from fans and many around us, MYTEEN, which I led with all my strength as a leader, has come to an end. Honestly, I am still in shock and don't know what expression to make or what to say.' He also conveyed, 'I believe that everything, from the late-night preparations to achieve the goal of debuting with good people, to the programs and radio shows we appeared on under the name MYTEEN, were moments more valuable than anything else.'
