On Friday, September 25, 2026, the "MEDITHERAPY Brand Ambassador Announcement Event" was held. At this event, JO1’s KIMATA Shoya, who was appointed as ambassador, took the stage and shared his joy at becoming an ambassador and episodes from the filming of the web CM. In addition, he talked about the MEDITHERAPY items he actually uses and introduced "Inmotox" as his favorite item. At the beginning of the event, when he received the news of his appointment, he expressed his happiness, saying, "I was originally very interested in skincare brands themselves, so I am truly happy to have received such an offer." He also talked about the web CM. As a scene that especially left an impression on him, he mentioned the cut where serum is dropped onto the face, and revealed the behind-the-scenes of the shoot, saying, "I remember filming it while trial and erroring with the makeup artist and cameraman about how to make it look beautiful." Next, he was asked about the beauty habits he usually keeps in mind. Regarding what he values in skincare, he said, "When the skin becomes dry, it can cause roughness, so I make sure to moisturize my face thoroughly, and also, I’m not sure if this counts as skincare, but I do a lot for swelling prevention." Furthermore, he revealed that recently, because he has been putting effort into skincare and his skin has become beautiful, member Kono Junki asked him, "Why has it gotten so much better?" In response, he said, "I told him it was MEDITHERAPY!" which lightened the mood at the venue. The favorite MEDITHERAPY item he introduced was the beauty device set "Inmotox Suction Jet," equipped with three functions: EMS, LED, and suction. He focused on the different feel from ordinary beauty devices, and spoke about its appeal, saying, "It’s also a beauty device that can suction. When massaging the face, I think there are quite a lot of times when you press or rub, but I think it’s rare to be able to suck the skin, lift it, and pull it, so I thought that was something not often seen." He also mentioned that it is easy to care for together with the included cream, and the design that allows the main unit to be set down after use. "Personally, I thought this was the best," he introduced his favorite points from the perspective of a devoted user. In line with MEDITHERAPY’s slogan, "YOUR DAILY SKIN BOOSTER," he was also asked what makes his daily life positive. He answered, "I like fashion, and I am particular about fashion items, so it’s that kind of thing." Also, regarding the moments when he receives power from JAM (JO1’s fan name), he said, "When JO1 debuted, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was a time when we couldn’t receive cheers, so the fact that there are more opportunities to hear voices directly now is important to me. I keenly feel that such opportunities are not something to take for granted." He further said, "When we receive cheers or voices at talk events, I get energized and I’m happy," expressing his gratitude to JAM, who support him. Toward the end of the event, he talked about what he would like to try in the future as MEDITHERAPY’s brand ambassador. KIMATA Shoya commented, "I’d like to try making collaboration products." He also revealed that he is interested in beauty gadgets such as beauty devices and sometimes buys them in his daily life. He showed his willingness to deepen his knowledge not only of skincare items but also of beauty equipment, and to think of various projects together with the brand. He also said, "I myself have a lot of worries about skin troubles, so I hope I can be useful as an ambassador who can stand by people like that," sharing his thoughts for the future.
