The advertising production company Ilka Kidnapping Group, which produced NewJeans' 'Ditto', has applied for a suspension of enforcement against NewJeans' agency ADOR. Today (20th), according to the legal community, Ilka Kidnapping Group filed a suspension of enforcement application with the 63rd Civil Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Chief Judge: Lee Gyuyoung). Previously, on the 13th, the court ruled that ADOR must pay Ilka Kidnapping Group 1 billion won (about 10 million yen) and delayed interest in a damages lawsuit filed by ADOR against Ilka Kidnapping Group and director Shin Woosuk, resulting in a partial victory for the plaintiff. However, the claim for damages against director Shin Woosuk was dismissed. The court ruled that the relevant amount could be provisionally enforced. Provisional enforcement is a system that allows the winning side to execute the judgment content in advance even if the judgment is not finalized. Generally, such a provisional enforcement declaration is added to judgments that order monetary payments to realize the rights of the winning side ahead of time. However, the losing side can apply for a suspension of enforcement. The court often decides to suspend enforcement on the condition of providing collateral unless there are special circumstances. This can be done by depositing a certain amount in cash or submitting a guarantee insurance certificate. Previously, Ilka Kidnapping Group posted a director's cut of NewJeans' 'ETA' music video on their YouTube channel last August. Subsequently, director Shin Woosuk stated that 'ADOR requested the removal of related footage', and he deleted all NewJeans footage that was posted on another channel. ADOR countered that 'the director's cut of the 'ETA' music video included edits that had previously been disputed with advertisers and was posted without consultation with the advertisers', stating that they only requested a suspension of the posting of the 'ETA' director's cut footage. In response, director Shin Woosuk filed a lawsuit claiming that ADOR's statement regarding the 'unauthorized release' of the director's cut defamed him, and ADOR filed a damages lawsuit. At the third hearing in November last year, former ADOR representative Min Heejin attended as a witness for both Shin Woosuk and Ilka Kidnapping Group, drawing attention. At that time, Min Heejin's court attendance was the first in two months since the lawsuit regarding the confirmation of contract termination with HYBE and the exercise of put option-related stock sale claims.

ADOR has won a lawsuit against the production company Ilka Kidnapping Group and director Shin Woosuk, ordering them to pay 1 billion won in damages for unauthorized releases of NewJeans' music videos. The dispute arose after the director's cut of 'ETA' was posted on YouTube without permission, leading to claims of defamation and ownership rights.
Daniel of NewJeans will hold a live message on his social media today at 7 PM, thanking fans for their support and sharing updates. This event comes amid ongoing legal disputes following his contract termination with ADOR, which has announced intentions to seek damages related to the situation.
In December, K-pop news was dominated by SHINee's Key announcing a hiatus due to a scandal, PSY's police investigation over prescription drugs, and the wedding of Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina after 10 years of dating. ADOR has initiated a lawsuit against Daniel, a former member of NewJeans, her family, and ex-CEO Min Hee-jin, seeking 431 billion won in damages. The lawsuit, citing breach of contract, has been assigned to the Seoul Central District Court. ADOR claims Daniel's departure caused significant issues, leading to the contract termination.
