K-pop group IVE's 3rd EP 'Be Alright' tops Oricon charts, achieving record sales and featuring original tracks and a successful music video.

In 2021, the Korean six-member group IVE debuted and their popularity has continued to expand globally. Their 3rd EP in Japan, 'Be Alright', achieved 1st place in the Oricon weekly album ranking as of August 11, 2025. IVE also recorded their highest first-week sales. Furthermore, they achieved the highest sales for a foreign female artist this year. This marks the first time in 1 year and 5 months that a foreign female artist has topped the charts, and it is the first time this year. The album includes the title track 'Be Alright', as well as two original Japanese songs, 'DARE ME', the opening song for the NTV April drama 'Dame Mane! - I Manage Bad Talents -', and Japanese versions of three songs from their 2nd EP 'IVE SWITCH', including the title track 'Accendio', 'Blue Heart', and 'WOW'. The title track 'Be Alright', which was released in advance on July 16, contrasts sharply with the previous Japanese title track 'CRUSH', showcasing IVE's cool and chic outfits and appearance. It is a song that gives courage to move forward without fear of change. The music video is story-driven, and the expressions and acting of the members in each scene have become a hot topic. After the advance release, it ranked on Billboard JAPAN's 'Hot 100', 'Hot Shot Songs', and 'Download Songs' charts, attracting attention. IVE has also successfully completed their fan concert arena tour '2025 IVE FAN CONCERT IN JAPAN', drawing a total of 100,000 fans, and they are actively working in Japan. On August 25, they will make a comeback in Korea with their 4th EP 'IVE THE 4th EP', and on September 15 (Monday, holiday), they are set to make their first appearance at the 'ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025'.
