ATEEZ expressed their pride in the group and their continued challenges. On November 14 at 4 PM, a press conference was held at Lotte Hotel World in Songpa District, Seoul, to commemorate the release of ATEEZ's 11th mini album 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2'. ATEEZ made a comeback after 6 months since the release of their 10th mini album 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1' in May. This album is the second story of their 'golden hour', incorporating the moments they will create and shine in the future. HONGJOONG said, 'We made a comeback with our 11th mini album after 6 months. Since the release of the 10th mini album, we have toured North America and participated in various festivals, gaining various experiences. Based on those experiences, we returned with a growth reflected in this album. Please love and look forward to this new album that coexists with a new atmosphere and the traditional atmosphere.' WOOYOUNG expressed gratitude for the love received for the 10th mini album, stating, 'We prepared hard with the power of that love. We have no regrets as we created it through discussions among the members. I hope our sincerity is well conveyed through the music.' This album captures how ATEEZ loves, depicting the process of finding a complete self while loving intensely in every moment. SAN called for listeners to enjoy the album, saying, 'This album includes moments of love surrounding ATEEZ. There are various forms of love, but this album aligns with the love surrounding me. All the tracks are charming, so please listen joyfully.' The change in ATEEZ's concept, which has mainly showcased intense music, is also prominent. They differentiated themselves from their previous work that expressed their journey towards their goals. HONGJOONG mentioned, 'This year, we performed at famous festivals and large venues, gaining many new experiences. I was filled with the thought that we must keep moving forward, but I wondered if we could express our value well during that time. I don't think we have expressed pride in the path we have walked. I believe recognizing our value is a way to value those who love and cherish us.' He continued, 'Rather than trying to escape the image of being intense music performers, we have made new attempts to show what we can do well with that image. Thanks to the love for 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1', we could confidently challenge another newness with this album.' The title track of this album, 'Ice On My Teeth', incorporates the value that if one knows true value, they can coexist splendidly even with things that may not suit them. YUNHO explained, 'I worked hard to express the meaning of true value felt through our activities so far. When thinking of diamonds, one usually remembers accessories. Expressing it as diamonds on teeth may seem unsuitable, but I thought we could express it well. The lyrics also have wit, so I hope you pay attention to that.' SEONGHWA mentioned, 'The hip-hop-based string instruments are impressive. Although it doesn't appear on the surface, I incorporated my unique value that shines at the moment of laughter.' They are receiving calls for powerful performances and unwavering live shows at various festivals, including the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. When asked how they incorporated what they learned from festivals into the new album, HONGJOONG said, 'Whenever we prepare an album, we strive to express melodies and lyrics that are possible because we are ATEEZ. Through overseas festivals, we naturally learned from the comments and reactions of the audience that we didn't know before, and I think we have reached a time where our lyrics and melodies have become diverse and can express different atmospheres.' He added, 'Recently, many of our colleagues have shown great results overseas and have been mentioned in many media outlets. We pondered what differentiates ATEEZ and what value we have. I believe our value lies in constantly challenging ourselves. We want to carve our own path and believe that challenging ourselves, regardless of results, is a way to prove our value.' ATEEZ poured their heart and soul into the album but said it is still too early to be 100% satisfied. YEOSANG emphasized, 'I was satisfied to show ATEEZ's unique color, but my thirst has not been quenched. There are still many things we want to show, so we are still thirsty.' Debuting in October 2018, ATEEZ is now in their 7th year and discussed considering re-contracting and continuing various activities. With their 7th anniversary approaching, HONGJOONG said, 'I think it's a special year for us, so I believe it's also a special year for our fans. We want to do many activities that can create precious memories for our fans.' The 11th mini album 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2' was released on the 15th at 2 PM.
