BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) will hold a comeback live on Netflix. Netflix will exclusively live stream 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG' on March 21 (Saturday) at 8 PM. From Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, a memorable performance celebrating the release of their long-awaited new album 'ARIRANG' will be live streamed worldwide. Netflix has partnered with HYBE to realize this unprecedented historical worldwide comeback event. The seven members, RM, Jin, SUGA, J-HOPE, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, will return to the stage as a complete BTS. The event is held following the release of BTS's new album and the announcement of their world tour, raising expectations. The 5th full album 'ARIRANG' is a highly introspective work that explores their identity and roots as Koreans. After the album's release, a large-scale world tour 'BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG' (2026–2027)' is planned, covering a total of 82 performances in 34 regions worldwide, including Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East. Furthermore, following the excitement of the exclusive live event, Netflix will exclusively stream a long documentary titled 'BTS: THE RETURN' starting March 27 (Friday), which closely follows the production process of their latest comeback album. Directed by Bao Nguyen, known for acclaimed documentaries like 'Who Shot That Girl?' and 'The Night Pop Shone Brightest', and produced by This Machine and HYBE, this work offers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look. The reunited BTS embarks on a journey towards a reunion that will be etched in pop culture history, reflecting on how the seven Korean members transformed into global icons. Since their debut in 2013, BTS has built one of the most passionate fan communities in the world. The seven members, having completed their mandatory military service, gather again in Los Angeles to begin new music production. After time apart and personal changes, they return to their former creative space. As millions of fans eagerly await their comeback, BTS faces quieter, introspective questions: 'How do we start again?', 'How do we pay respect without being bound by the past?', and 'How do we move forward together from here?'. While navigating doubts, laughter, and rediscovery, the seven create new music that reflects 'who they are now'. The result will likely be a landmark album that symbolizes the era. 'BTS: THE RETURN' is an intimate, emotional, and sometimes joy-filled story that only BTS can tell, reflecting resilience, brotherhood, and reinvention. 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG' symbolizes the expansion of Netflix's live programming and is the first-ever live event to be streamed live from Korea to the world.
