BLACKPINK has finished all preparations and announced the comeback date as a complete group. YG ENTERTAINMENT today (15th) released 'BLACKPINK 3rd MINI ALBUM "DEADLINE"' through their official blog. They showcased a sensory motion graphic utilizing the group's signature color, signaling the start of comeback promotions. A single pink light rapidly cuts through the darkness multiple times, creating an afterimage, while a fast-paced sound gradually rises, creating a sharp tension. They then officially announced that the 3rd mini album 'DEADLINE' will be released on February 27 at 1 PM. The album title 'DEADLINE' is the same as their world tour that started with their performance at Goyang Gymnasium last July, making them the first K-POP girl group to hold a concert there. This comeback is expected to mark the 'final destination' of their journey, which has seen them cry, laugh, and connect with fans. Given BLACKPINK's established status as a global top girl group, significant reactions to this album are anticipated. Their digital single 'JUMP', released last year, achieved their third number one on the Billboard Global 200, setting a record as the first and most for a K-POP girl group. Prior to this, YG ENTERTAINMENT had completed the filming of the music video and major album production early on, ensuring maximum quality. YG ENTERTAINMENT commented, 'We sincerely thank the fans who have waited a long time. We plan to respond with high-quality music, so we hope for your great interest.' - BLACKPINK to start shooting new song MV this week... full-scale comeback preparations underway - BLACKPINK to hold 3-day concert at Tokyo Dome in January 2026!
