Doyoung and Jungwoo of NCT have enlisted. Today (the 8th), they began military service as active-duty soldiers in the army. Following Taeyong and Jaehyun, who enlisted last year, they are the third in the group to fulfill their national defense duty. On this day, photos of the two with buzz cuts were released through NCT's official X (formerly Twitter). Next to Doyoung are Johnny and Heechan, and next to Jungwoo are Taeyong, Mark, and Jungwoo, showing that the members supported their enlistment. Prior to this, on the 7th, Jungwoo reported through his Instagram story that he had shaved his hair with Doyoung. They made the words 'Doyoung Jungwoo Enlist' with the cut hair, conveying their recent situation to fans just before enlistment. On November 28, just before enlistment, Jungwoo held his first solo fan meeting along with the release of his 1st single 'SUGAR', spending the last moments with fans before enlisting. Doyoung is scheduled to release a new single 'Promise' tomorrow (the 9th) as a gift to fans.
