The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Content Promotion Agency announced that they will hold the 'Popular Culture Arts Production Staff Awards' at the National Theater in Seoul on the 22nd. The 'Popular Culture Arts Production Staff Awards' is a government award organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and supervised by the Korea Content Promotion Agency. It is the only award ceremony in Korea aimed at production teams, and the day after this award, the 'Popular Culture Arts Awards' will be held to honor individuals who contributed to the development of Korean popular culture. Both are award systems established by the Korean government, but this year, they are particularly noteworthy as they will recognize production teams and cultural artists on two consecutive days. At this year's 'Popular Culture Arts Production Staff Awards,' staff from popular dramas will receive awards from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, including Ryu Seong-hee, the art director from PODO STUDIO for 'Thank You for Your Hard Work,' Park Seong-il, the sound director from Studio Curiosity for the same work, Cho In-hyeon from COOL MEDIA who edited 'Jungnyun: Star is Born,' and Ok Im-sik from Farryok Daejeon studio who worked on DIT (Digital Image Technology) for 'My Daughter Became a Zombie' and 'Squid Game,' among others. A representative from the Ministry of Culture stated, 'This year's award ceremony carries the message that it is a festival that shines a spotlight not only on the front stage but also on the behind-the-scenes,' and added, 'We want to continue creating stages where cultural artists and production teams can shine together.' - TVXQ, SEVENTEEN, and Lee Min-ho receive presidential awards!
