The new public music awards "KOREA GRAND MUSIC AWARDS (KGMA)" has announced a special stage, exciting global K-POP fans. Today (8th), according to the KGMA organizing committee, the "1st KOREA GRAND MUSIC AWARDS" will be held on the 16th (Artist Day) and 17th (Song Day) at Inspire Arena in Incheon, where a total of 30 artists will present a luxurious stage of about 100 songs under the theme of "Birth of the Galaxy." In particular, on Artist Day, a special stage prepared just for this occasion will thrill fans. First, the MCs for Artist Day, NewJeans' Hani and actress Nam Ji-hyun, are preparing an opening special performance. ZEROBASEONE is planning a special stage utilizing wires, ensuring satisfaction for the audience attending the venue. Their unique performance from zero to galaxy is expected to excite fans. ZEROBASEONE is also preparing surprise performances to delight K-POP fans present at the venue. (G)I-DLE will unveil the stage of "Wife," which was only shown at their solo concert, for the first time at the awards ceremony. The pre-released song "Wife" from (G)I-DLE's 2nd full album "2" has a highly addictive hook, entering the TOP 100 of major music distribution sites like MelOn and genie after its release, captivating fans both domestically and internationally. Expectations are high for how (G)I-DLE, known for their powerful yet cute dance, will perform at the KGMA. NewJeans is preparing a special stage just for KGMA with the theme of freedom and liberation. Yong-tak will showcase his new song "SuperSuper" with an LED performance. Jung Dong-won will debut his new song "Gori." KGMA is a stage that selects singers and music that have achieved meaningful results in various genres of popular music, including K-POP, trot, bands, and solo artists, loved by fans both domestically and internationally over the year, becoming a festival where artists and fans interact. The overall direction of this year's awards ceremony will be handled by Han Dong-cheol, the representative of PHUNKEY STUDIO, who directed "MAMA" for the first time and established it as a representative awards ceremony of Mnet, as well as planning and directing shows like "SHOW ME THE MOMENT," "UNPRETTY RAP STAR," and "PRODUCE 101," earning the title of "master of Korean audition programs." The KGMA organizing committee plans to gradually reveal details of the diverse and gorgeous stages that artists participating on Song Day, the 17th, will present. The "1st KOREA GRAND MUSIC AWARDS (KGMA)" will grandly open on the 16th (Artist Day) with MCs NewJeans' Hani and actress Nam Ji-hyun.
