U-NEXT has released information about the 'Producer New Song Mission' that will be showcased in episode 4 of the Japan-Korea joint audition program 'Unpretty Rapstar: HIP POP Princess', which is exclusively distributed. Comments from producers such as i-dle's Soyoun, Gaeko, RIEHATA, and Takahiro Iwata have also arrived. In episode 3, aired on October 30, the second 'Producer New Song Mission' was announced, where Soyoun, Gaeko, RIEHATA, and Takahiro Iwata will create new songs. In the first hurdle, the '1-on-1 Creation Battle', participants paired up and clashed. Notably, the top competitors from Japan and Korea, Niko and Yoon Soyoun, engaged in a thrilling freestyle battle, with Niko emerging victorious. In episode 4, airing on November 6, Japanese and Korean participants will form a single team to showcase performances that transcend cultural barriers in the 'Producer New Song Mission'. The four producers will directly direct and coach the participants, providing full support. The key to this mission is 'self-production' by the participants, who will devise their own rap lyrics and choreography, showcasing their individuality. Soyoun commented that the performances are expected to shine with the participants' talents, saying they are 'jealously well-produced'. Attention is growing on how the personalities of the producers and the potential of the participants will merge to create a unique stage. Furthermore, episode 4 will premiere simultaneously on U-NEXT and the official U-NEXT YouTube channel. Ahead of the episode's release, an overview of the new songs produced by the producers and comments on the participants' stages have been published. The new songs produced will be sequentially released as audio tracks in the future. ◆Producer New Songs: 'CROWN (Prod. GAN)' - A powerful and energetic track that fuses J-POP and HIP-HOP, symbolizing challenge and passion. 'DAISY (Prod. Gaeko)' - A sensibly rich song that compares various life experiences to 'earth, rain, wind, and sun'. 'Diss papa (Prod. Padi, RIEHATA)' - A song depicting a girl with confidence and overflowing charm, even when wearing a hood. ◆Producer Comments: Takahiro Iwata: 'We symbolically expressed the participants' challenges and passion. I hope you look forward to seeing what lyrics, choreography, and performances they created in a limited time.'
