Stray Kids' Seungmin has been diagnosed with a fatigue fracture in his ankle and will unfortunately not participate in the large music festival in the U.S. next month. On the 21st, his agency JYP Entertainment announced through official social media that 'regarding Seungmin's ankle injury and future schedule,' 'In March of this year, Seungmin visited the hospital due to pain in his left ankle and was advised that there might be a fatigue fracture, and he has been receiving continuous treatment. Following additional examinations, he was diagnosed with a fatigue fracture in his left ankle and is currently focusing on treatment and recovery while undergoing detailed examinations for related symptoms and similar diseases.' They continued, 'He is maintaining rest in daily life and avoiding excessive physical activity, but to concentrate on complete recovery and stable treatment, he plans to minimize long flights and movements in limited spaces and continue treatment and observation while taking sufficient rest.' They also explained, 'Accordingly, at The Governors Ball Music Festival held in New York, USA on June 6 (local time), the performance will be conducted with the remaining seven members excluding Seungmin, and he will unfortunately be unable to participate.' Finally, they added, 'We apologize to fans who were looking forward to this performance for the sudden announcement and concern. Our company prioritizes the health of our artists and will do our best to ensure they receive more active and professional treatment in the future.'
