Cha Eunwoo of ASTRO will appear at "KCON JAPAN". CJ ENM announced the participation of 46 teams in "KCON JAPAN 2024" to be held at Makuhari Messe and ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba from May 10th to May 12th, as well as a more diverse stage setup. CJ ENM revealed its aspirations to provide artists and fans with a differentiated and diverse program by deploying the largest multi-stage in history and showcasing more festival-like content. As part of this, "KCON JAPAN 2024" will feature a total of 6 multi-stages, with a total of 46 teams participating in stages or programs, making it the most K-POP artist-packed festival to date. The main show that has adorned KCON nights, "M COUNTDOWN STAGE", will be held at ZOZO Marine Stadium on May 11th and 12th. It is scheduled to be a K-POP show on the largest scale in KCON history. In addition to the announced artists, Cha Eunwoo and the new group B.D.U, born through Mnet's survival program "Build Up", as well as the upcoming girl group IS:SUE will also participate. Expectations are high for special stages like "RE-Meeted STAGE", where K-POP fans can see legendary songs covered. The biggest change in KCON this year, the "KCON STAGE", will be a venue with about 10,000 seats, offering a rich lineup over 3 days to liven up Makuhari Messe. The "KCON STAGE" will also be operated at "KCON HONG KONG 2024", where it received a warm response from the audience. It will inform about the evolution of multi-stages, allowing fans to enjoy artist stages freely according to their preferences throughout the day and by time slot. In particular, performances such as recording songs, unit stages, and artist-specific personalities that were rarely seen in traditional show stages are expected to be showcased, providing artists with a special opportunity. Through "KCON STAGE", artists like BOYNEXTDOOR, DXTEEN, INI, TWS, Kep1er, ME:I, NCT WISH, and JO1 are expected to show new performances. The "MEET & GREET" event, where fans can meet and communicate with artists up close, will also undergo significant changes. The event, which has been held as a private event for paid spectators, will now target all general spectators, aiming to expand the interaction between fans and artists. Premium ticket buyers for "MEET & GREET" will be provided with special benefits such as a dedicated area where they can view programs from the closest spot to the stage and participate in a send-off event where they can communicate with artists in person. At Makuhari Messe, various programs will be prepared over 3 days to create interactions between fans and artists, showcasing the new form of KCON as a "K-POP Fan & Artist Festival". The event will feature various stages with different concepts, such as "SHOWCASE" to introduce new K-POP artists, and "CONNECTING STAGE" where fans and artists synchronize through talks, games, and other content. Together with the digital platform M2 "STUDIO CHOOM", many contents that fans worldwide can enjoy will be prepared. Furthermore, various concept stages, such as "DANCE ALL DAY" where different themes of dance content that could only be enjoyed through videos will be showcased in front of fans, are planned. In addition to the multi-stage, a variety of contents and programs that allow fans to enjoy K-POP in various ways will be prepared. Exhibition spaces where fans can more closely appreciate the charms of each artist, a "Fan Art Gallery" created directly by fans, and a food lounge decorated with the concept of "K-FOOD Night Market" will also be set up. Cha Eunwoo of ASTRO & BLACKPINK's Lisa & Han Sohee, a 2-shot with Hollywood stars, is a hot topic. CIX's Sunghoon & ONE PACT's Jay and others have been decided as the final debut members of the survival program "Build Up"! They will also visit Japan in May.
