ADOR, continuing its conflict with NewJeans, announced the appointment of Lee Do-kyung as the new Vice President. ADOR explained that the background for the appointment of the new representative is to fully implement operations as a label that carries out artist activity planning and management, such as sound sources and concerts. Previously, in August of last year, ADOR appointed Kim Joo-young, a human resource management expert, as the representative director to normalize the organization and management through the separation of production and management and appropriate human resource allocation. The ADOR board of directors judged that the initial goals had been achieved and decided to appoint the new representative, Lee Do-kyung, who is well-versed in label management practices, to transition to an operational system that enables rapid artist activity support and business promotion while aiming for the growth of affiliated artists and the label. Lee Do-kyung joined HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) in 2019. He has established the overall corporate vision and business strategy for HYBE and has advanced various new businesses. In particular, in 2022, he served as the Vice President of the IPX business division, which promotes the artist IP foundation business of HYBE MUSIC, playing a central role in enhancing solution businesses utilizing artist IP. He oversaw merchandise, pop-up stores, and support goods for all HYBE MUSIC artists. Additionally, he planned and promoted the large-scale collaboration project "THE CITY," which applies artist IP across cities where concerts are held, providing fans with diverse enjoyment. With the appointment of Lee Do-kyung, ADOR has established an immediate support system and enhanced human structure for artist activities. NewJeans is affiliated with ADOR but has been in conflict over the termination of their exclusive contract since last November. Meanwhile, ADOR is preparing for new artist production by holding the "2025 ADOR BOYS GLOBAL AUDITION" to recruit members for a next-generation boy group since last June.
