SEVENTEEN's Jonghan is finally enlisting. According to Pledis Entertainment, Jonghan will enter the training camp today (26th) to fulfill his military duty. The agency previously announced that, as mentioned earlier, he will not be able to participate in the activities of the 12th mini album and the world tour schedule, but plans to meet fans through various pre-prepared content. Furthermore, they emphasized that there will be no separate events on the day of service commencement and training camp entry, and they request that fans refrain from visiting the alternative service location. They asked CARATs (SEVENTEEN's fan name) to continue their love and support so that Jonghan can fulfill his military duty sincerely and return in a healthier state. The agency will also continue to support Jonghan. Born in 1995, Jonghan is the oldest member after S.COUPS, who received a grade 5 wartime labor judgment and was effectively exempted from military service. He is the first member of the group to enlist. The exact reason for Jonghan's alternative service as a social service worker has not been clarified. Following Jonghan's enlistment, other SEVENTEEN members are expected to enlist sequentially. On the same day as Jonghan, NU'EST's Ren also enlists, starting his alternative service as a social service worker. He will begin work without entering the training camp due to the prior service system and will later receive basic military training.
