The beginning of a full-fledged voyage towards Mark's 1st solo album has been announced by NCT's Mark. Today (16th) at 6 PM, the solo single "200" was released through various music distribution sites, and the music video for the title track "200" was also simultaneously released. The new song "200" is a drum and bass genre song based on rock sound, with a harmonious blend of early 2000s electronic guitar sound and lyrical melody. The fast BPM drums and synth bass sound, along with speedy rap, provide an enjoyable listening experience. The lyrics express a story of unexpected love that ultimately becomes a fateful encounter, with the meaning that two people become even more perfect when they meet. Mark participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement, incorporating his own unique personality. The music video depicts Mark's eccentric imagination and experiments dreaming of freedom with wit. From visualizing the lyrics to expressing surreal situations through animation, and vintage visuals representing the rock vibes of the drum and bass genre, there are various highlights. In addition, the single also includes an acoustic version of "200 (Minhyung's Ver.)," where you can enjoy Mark's calm singing voice and sensibility different from the original. Regarding this single, Mark said, "I'm looking forward to the title track '200' because it's a song that NCTzens (NCT fans) can enjoy happily in the summer. I think '200 (Minhyung's Ver.)' is a song that you can feel even deeper when you listen to it at night." He also shared his thoughts on the music video, saying, "I think it will be a video with a movie-like atmosphere and impactful points. There were difficult parts during filming, but I remember it being really fun. I would be happy if NCTzens enjoyed it as well."
