The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Lim Chae-chong) revealed on the 10th that Park Gunwook donated 11 million won (about 100,000 dollars) to support children facing food shortages on his birthday. This donation was made to commemorate Park Gunwook's birthday. Last year, he also donated 10 million won to support the families of victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster, engaging in meaningful sharing. The donated funds will be used for the 'Hope Lunch' project, which supports children facing food shortages due to complex crises such as poverty, abuse, and neglect. This project provides customized programs, including meal delivery five times a week, family activities, psychological counseling, and parenting coaching, to ensure children receive stable meals and care. Park Gunwook stated, 'On my birthday, I wanted to share my feelings, even if in a small way,' and added, 'I hope that a meal delivered to children can warm their day and serve as a small help in nurturing dreams and hope.' Kim Hyun-joon, director of fundraising at Hope Bridge, expressed gratitude to Park Gunwook for practicing meaningful sharing for children facing food shortages in celebration of his birthday, stating, 'Hope Bridge will do its best to support stable meals for children and assist in their healthy growth.'
