Wonyoung of IVE's gravure has become a topic of discussion. The fashion magazine 'Harper's BAZAAR Korea' recently released the cover of the August issue featuring Wonyoung. In an interview after the shoot, Wonyoung spoke about the trending 'Lucky Vicky' (a coined term combining the English word Lucky, meaning fortune, and Wonyoung's English name Vicky) and her way of thinking (meaning to replace any situation with positive thinking). She said, 'What I felt is that effort, in any form, will surely come back like a boomerang. If it hasn't led to results yet, it just means the time hasn't come. In such times, I think it's better to think this way: 'Ah, my efforts are sprouting somewhere now.' She continued, 'The lyrics I love the most in IVE's song 'ATTITUDE' are, 'Even if I bump into things everywhere, luck is always on my side.' My life is really like that. My English name 'Vicky', which I've had since I was young, was taken from the nickname of the goddess of victory, Victoria. My mother made it for me, always wishing for me to win. It's very mysterious how that led to the current Lucky Vicky. Just like the lyrics, the phrase I used to say since kindergarten was 'The goddess of luck is on my side.' I believe words have power. So, even if I bump into things everywhere, I think in the end, luck is on my side.'
