Kao's sunscreen brand 'Biore UV' has launched a global campaign 'SUNLIGHT IS YOUR SPOTLIGHT' featuring Stray Kids, starting in 2025. This year, in its second year, the campaign will deepen further and begin in over 15 countries and regions from the end of March 2026 (the number of countries/regions planned as of January 2026; subject to change). Ahead of the full rollout, a teaser site and message movie were released today (30th). Additionally, a collaboration song between Stray Kids and 'Biore UV' has been realized. An anthem film and graphics featuring the new anthem song are scheduled to be released simultaneously worldwide at the end of March. In recent years, awareness of avoiding activities under the sun has grown due to climate change and changes in UV environments. In response to these social changes, 'Biore UV' has redefined the sun from being an 'object to avoid' to a 'spotlight for you to shine.' By partnering with the global boy group Stray Kids and promoting the message 'SUNLIGHT IS YOUR SPOTLIGHT,' the campaign started in 2025. The synergy between Stray Kids, who have stepped out into the light and continue to challenge the world, and 'Biore UV,' which has protected skin from UV rays for many years, has resonated widely across countries and regions. In its second year, the campaign aims to strengthen the partnership with Stray Kids and convey the value of 'real protection' for shining under the sun more authentically, culminating in the first song collaboration. Through the anthem song produced by the members, anthem films, graphics, and various campaigns themed around 'SUNLIGHT IS YOUR SPOTLIGHT,' the message will be communicated globally. Furthermore, to commemorate the announcement of the song collaboration with Stray Kids and the second year of the campaign, a campaign will be held starting February 2 (Monday), where participants can win limited-edition merchandise. To enter, participants must submit a receipt for the purchase of one or more 'Biore UV' products, with 2,500 winners receiving 'Biore UV x Stray Kids limited goods.'
