ONENESS KOREA (Representative: Kim Jin-soo), which produces VR content, has reborn singer DAWN (former PENTAGON's E'Dawn) as a new concept virtual artist 'Idan Maverick'. Since the end of May this year, Idan Maverick has steadily posted diverse works and unique concept content through official SNS, and successfully completed its first exhibition at the '2024 FOCUS ART FAIR' held simultaneously at the Search Gallery and Outernet in London from the 10th to the 13th of this month, marking the start of its full-fledged activities as an artist. This exhibition was held at the suggestion of the organizers, captivated by Idan Maverick's unique world of works, utilizing the theme 'BLACK SHEEP', which is the concept of Idan Maverick's birth, as a fabric and expressed in a unique style. These works attracted attention from many artists and visitors who visited the Search Gallery, and there were requests from the event organizers for participation in future events. Additionally, the concept video of Idan Maverick, produced using 3D and generative AI, received rave reviews as a fantastic media art immediately after its release on-site, leading to a flood of inquiries for collaboration from many brands participating in the event. Idan Maverick is breaking away from limited professions like singer and model, collaborating with artists active in diverse fields such as art, sculpture, fashion, ceramics, and illustration, pursuing a new concept of expanding its worldview. Furthermore, to distinguish itself from traditional virtual humans, it ensures diversity in content and worldview, transcending mere technical expression and being reborn as a single IP. ONENESS KOREA, which produced Idan Maverick, is a virtual content production company led by Kim Jin-soo, who participated in Korea's first virtual influencer Rozy project, showcasing various content in the virtual industry based on a new method combining 3D and AI. Kim Jin-soo, the representative of ONENESS KOREA, stated, 'Based on the concept of BLACK SHEEP, which is the birth concept of Idan Maverick, we are exploring various genres of art through collaborations with diverse artists whose interests are low in sculptures, paintings, ceramics, illustrations, etc., and making attempts to share them with people through SNS. I believe that the journey of Idan Maverick will play a meaningful role in changing the perspectives of people viewing virtual humans. I am confident that as the content of Idan Maverick increases, its value will continue to rise.'
