Regarding why he didn't give up on this song despite being rejected multiple times by the agency, he said, 'I usually give up quickly and don't like to clash with others, but the answer was already decided (laughs). The agency probably thought, 'Wooyoung might never come back with this song,' so they finally allowed it.' As he is called 'the son born from JYP's joints and vocal cords,' many are curious about Park Jin-young's (J.Y. Park) reaction to this comeback. Wooyoung mentioned, 'Actually, Jin-young was very disappointed. He seemed to want me to do a more trendy and powerful dance.' He conveyed his sincerity, stating, 'I didn't want to come back noisily saying, 'Hey everyone, I'm finally back!' More than wanting to follow trends or do exaggerated music, I just wanted to do music that is true to myself.' He also praised Park Jin-young's recent stage at 'WATERBOMB,' saying, 'I think Jin-young was the main character of this year's 'WATERBOMB.' I really respect how he maintains such energy and stamina even now.' When asked if he ever considered other options after walking with JYP for about 20 years, he replied, 'Not once. My singer life has always been with JYP, and because the agency believed in me, I believed in the agency.' He also shared good news about the long-awaited full comeback of all 2PM members, stating, 'The day when 2PM's time will come is not far away. It's getting quite close.
