Choi Yena, from IZ*ONE, is coming back after 8 months. Today (19th), her agency YUEHUA Entertainment revealed that "Choi Yena will release her 3rd single 'Nemonemo' (meaning 'square' in Korean) on September 30." Along with this, they released a schedule poster and concept photos through Choi Yena's official SNS. Today, she unveiled the concept photos for the first time and started pre-orders for the single. Following this, they will release the second set of concept photos, a music video teaser, and a highlight medley. On the 30th, she will release the album and hold a fan showcase, marking the start of her full-fledged activities. According to the tracklist released with the schedule poster, this single includes three songs: the title track "Nemonemo," "Sugar," and "That Was Love." The title track "Nemonemo" is a dance song that adds the sensibility of the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) to a millennium sound, impressively expressing love in shapes. Additionally, "Sugar" expresses anxious feelings of love despite liking someone, and "That Was Love" conveys unexpressed true feelings and love, raising interest in what kind of love shapes Choi Yena will sing about. "Nemonemo" is her first single release since her 3rd mini-album "GOOD MORNING" released in January this year. Choi Yena has also been gaining recognition in variety shows, recently appearing in TVING's original "High School Mystery Club 3" and MBC's variety show "Radio Star," showcasing her presence. Following her participation in last year's Korea University festival, she has appeared in university festivals nationwide. She has also captivated overseas fans by participating in large stages like "KCON HONG KONG 2024" and "KCON JAPAN 2024." In July and August, she participated in the "WATERBOM" stage held in Jeju, Tokyo, and Yeosu for the first time since her debut, receiving positive responses.
