Former JO1 member Tsuruho Shion announced that he will resume activities individually. On the 4th, he opened an Instagram and YouTube channel, and through his first Instagram post, he stated, 'I want to gradually engage in various activities from now on.' He also revealed that a music video for a song he composed will be released on his YouTube channel. Previously, Tsuruho Shion had his online casino usage revealed in May last year. Following this, he was summarily indicted for gambling in August, leading to a suspension of group activities. In December, he announced the end of his activities as JO1 upon the expiration of his exclusive management contract with LAPONE Entertainment. At that time, the agency clarified that they had repeatedly discussed the expiration of his exclusive contract with him and other members. As a result, he expressed deep remorse to fans, members, and related parties, along with a strong intention to end the contract and activities. The agency respected this intention, leading to this conclusion.
