(G)I-DLE's Yuqi has revealed the concept of her 1st solo album. CUBE Entertainment released a concept trailer for Yuqi's 1st mini album "YUQ1" through official SNS channels at midnight on the 9th. The video starts with Yuqi playing the guitar while looking back on the past. Suddenly, the atmosphere changes to a lonely one, something unidentifiable passes by, and whispers around her turn into screams. Yuqi approaches a wall to find the source of the sound, peeling off the wallpaper. As she looks into the eyes that appear from within the wall, her own eyes change color. She showcases a completely different expression with a creepy smile, increasing interest in future promotions. Through the trailer, she previews a solid story without sparing the term "concept artisan," hinting at an upgraded music and a new chapter in a conceptual form. Her 1st solo mini album "YUQ1" will be released on music streaming sites at 6 pm on the 23rd, with the CD release on the 24th.
