'ASEA 2025' announced on the 13th that 'voting for the best male and female actors and couple awards chosen by fans has started.' This voting is divided into male actor, female actor, and couple awards, with preliminary and final rounds. The first preliminary round will be held from November 14 to December 12, and those ranked high will advance to the second preliminary round. The second preliminary round will take place from December 23 to January 20 next year, determining the final candidates for the main selection. 'ASEA 2025' is co-hosted by Newsen and @star1, representing Korea's entertainment and sports awards that turn global fan support for artists into a single festival. Voting for actors provides a special opportunity for fans to express their support through direct voting in a festival created together with the actors. The best actors and couples selected by fans are expected to become the protagonists of 'ASEA 2025', with voting participation available through the 'PODOAL' app. Winners of each stage of the preliminary rounds will be featured in the banner image of Newsen's official YouTube channel, which has 1.12 million subscribers, and will also be given interview opportunities. Final candidates will be announced in January 2025.
