Soyeon of i-dle appeared on 'UNPRETTY RAP STAR' for the first time in 9 years. She participated as MC and main producer in Mnet's 'UNPRETTY RAP STAR: HIP POP Princess,' which aired its first episode yesterday (16th). In an interview with the production team, she said, 'When I first appeared on an audition program, honestly, I was often hurt by various situations. I struggled with how to fill my own shortcomings. The answer I ultimately arrived at was to create my own music and build my own stage.' She continued, 'After actually making songs, I thought millions of times about what I should show on stage. I practiced everything from the movement on stage to each step, and I prepared my own composition for the audition.' Reflecting on her participation in 'UNPRETTY RAP STAR 3,' she appeared as an MC radiating overwhelming aura and received enthusiastic cheers from the participants. The participants expressed their admiration, saying, 'When we think of 'UNPRETTY RAP STAR,' she is the first person that comes to mind,' and 'I really respect her because she self-produces.' During the self-introduction mission, Soyeon encouraged the participants with heartfelt reactions and smooth facilitation. She particularly shared, 'Seeing all of you reminds me of when I first introduced myself on 'UNPRETTY RAP STAR.' I'm really happy to feel this atmosphere again after a long time.' In the first track battle between the Korean and Japanese teams, she stated, 'My only judging criterion is ability,' drawing attention.
