TWICE’s Dahyun and actor Cha Umin will present a refreshing first love. Today (the 21st), distributor Take One Company revealed that Dahyun and Cha Umin will star in the film Cloud Rolling. This work depicts a turbulent coming-of-age first-love story in which a cheerful girl who has spent her life turning the wheels of a wheelchair and a promising swimmer boy who carries hidden wounds become special to each other. It is a high-teen romance in which two completely different young people meet and broaden each other’s worlds, and expectations are rising as director Choi Seong-min, who co-directed the JTBC dramas King the Land, Miss Night and Miss Day, and Waiting for Gyeongdo, is in charge of directing. Dahyun, who has steadily expanded her range as an actress through films such as You Are the Apple of My Eye, Full Speed, and Love Me, will lead the work as the high school student Geurum, who is proud of her pink wheelchair. One day, Geurum is driven by a desire to directly see and draw abs, heads to the school pool, and starts her first love by becoming a volunteer mentor for Jun-sang, who was kicked out of practice after fighting with a senior. Cha Umin, who has been drawing attention as a rising star through dramas such as Buried Hearts, Study Group, and My Dearest Employee, will play Jun-sang, a high school swimmer prospect, and will show romance acting with Dahyun. Jun-sang is a character who has a physique and visuals that catch anyone’s eye, but hides unknown complexes and inner wounds. Jun-sang, whose mind was full of swimming, becomes close to Geurum through the volunteer work he was forced to do, but although he develops feelings for her, he struggles because of the self-reproach he has carried for a long time.
