The fan community 'Team Bunnies' of NewJeans is set to face legal judgment for suspected violations of the donation law. According to reports from South Korean media today (28th), the Northern District Prosecutor's Office in Seoul has recently referred a member of Team Bunnies, Mr. A, to the Seoul Family Court's juvenile division on suspicion of violating the donation law. Considering that Mr. A is a minor, they will proceed with protective measures rather than criminal punishment. Team Bunnies is a gathering of fans supporting the members of NewJeans, who are in a legal dispute with the label ADOR under HYBE. They have actively supported NewJeans, going beyond mental support to announce plans to report malicious commenters and rebutting statements from five organizations, including the Korean Management Union. The suspicion of Mr. A's violation of the donation law began when Team Bunnies raised funds in October last year. At that time, Team Bunnies started fundraising, claiming it would be used to report malicious online users, and it reportedly reached 50 million won (about 500,000 yen) within about eight hours. However, discussions arose that they might have violated the donation law by not registering in advance. The current donation law stipulates that when raising more than 10 million won (about 1 million yen), registration with the competent authority is required. Violating this can result in imprisonment for up to three years or a fine of up to 30 million won (about 300,000 yen). NewJeans announced that their exclusive contract with ADOR was terminated as of November 29 last year due to a breakdown in trust. However, in March this year, the court accepted ADOR's application for a provisional injunction against the members regarding 'preservation of the status of the planning company and prohibition of concluding advertising contracts.' The members filed an objection, but it was dismissed, and they are still unable to engage in independent activities. There has been no agreement reached in the recent mediation session, and both sides remain in conflict.

Speculation arises about her plans for NewJeans amid ongoing legal disputes with ADOR.
