ADOR has taken legal action against those who made malicious posts. On the 29th, ADOR stated, 'Recently, we have been responding strictly under the principle of zero tolerance without consent against criminal acts that infringe on artists' rights, including the dissemination of malicious falsehoods targeting artists, invasion of privacy, use of abusive language and derogatory terms, particularly sexual harassment expressions against underage members and racist remarks targeting foreign members.' They continued, 'As previously announced, we submitted a complaint against the creators of malicious posts at the end of November.' They explained, 'After submitting the complaint, we continue to monitor major communities in South Korea and overseas social media and music distribution sites.' They added, 'In conjunction with this, we are advancing requests for the removal of malicious posts and evidence collection, and considering the seriousness of the cases, we have added external experts. We plan to submit additional complaints regarding newly secured victim cases.' Furthermore, 'Regarding deepfake crimes targeting artists, we have clearly communicated our intention for severe punishment to investigative agencies and are actively cooperating in the investigation and punishment process. Our cooperation has been a substantial help in facilitating smooth investigations and strong penalties, and indeed, in the second half of this year, there have been cases where suspects were detained and sentenced to prison. We will continue to take all possible legal measures against deepfake crimes without any consent or leniency.' They emphasized, 'We are always grateful for the love and dedication of our fans, and ADOR will continue to strive to protect artists' rights.' On this day, ADOR announced the termination of Daniel's exclusive contract, stating, 'Regarding Daniel, we have determined that coexistence as a member of NewJeans and an artist under ADOR is difficult, and we have notified him of the termination of the exclusive contract today. We also plan to pursue legal responsibility against one family member of Daniel, who has significant responsibility for the situation leading to this dispute, and former representative Min Hee-jin.' Additionally, ADOR stated, 'Hani visited Korea with her family and had a long and deep dialogue with ADOR. During this process, she reflected on past events and took time to view the situation objectively. After sincere dialogue, Hani decided to respect the court's ruling and walk with ADOR again.'
