Billlie has made a full group comeback. On the afternoon of the 16th, a showcase to commemorate the release of their 5th mini album 'appendix: Of All We Have Lost' was held at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan, Seoul. Billlie returns as a complete group of seven after about 1 year and 7 months. The new album 'appendix: Of All We Have Lost' contains a journey to reclaim important things that were forgotten for a while in each of their places. The story of 'appendix' reflects their inner selves, including memories spent with loved ones, which is impressive. On this day, member Moon Sua explained, 'Unlike the stories we have presented so far, this reflects our inner selves.' Sukyung said, 'Until now, we have showcased music and performances that captured only our colors, but we prepared songs that further emphasize Billlie's unique color,' and added, 'Both title tracks evoke childhood memories. We want you to find and feel the 'Billlie-style childhood.' This is the first time Billlie has presented double title tracks since their debut. Shon said, 'We have showcased high-quality performances that many people loved. We focused on details like expressions and gestures. We hope you enjoy seeing Billlie genuinely enjoying the stage while singing with handheld microphones.' The first title track 'Memory Candy' is in the guitar pop genre, telling a story of digging up important memories that were forgotten during the time spent together and dreaming again. Shiyun explained about the song, 'It’s a cute number about finding beautiful candy during a difficult and tough journey and walking together with this memory and important heart.' Sukyung also conveyed, 'It incorporates our inner stories and carries a message we want to deliver to our Belllie (fan name). It means, 'Let's always be together from now on.' Above all, 'Memory Candy' not only involved participation in the lyrics but also attracted attention with IU participating in the narration of the two music video teaser videos. Haruna expressed her respect, saying, 'We are happy to come back with a senior we have always respected, IU.' She added, 'I have been listening to her music since before our debut, sang her songs during auditions, and covered her songs after debut. It feels like a dream to be able to come back with a role model.' After performing 'Memory Candy,' Tsuki said, 'It had been a while since we performed as a full group, so I was nervous and excited. I was happy to show the stage we prepared with all our effort.' Furthermore, Haruna said, 'After performing on stage, I finally felt the reality of coming back as a full group. I’m happy we could greet everyone together and want to showcase diverse activities.' Shiyun mentioned the part they particularly focused on, saying, 'When IU wrote the lyrics for this song, she said she incorporated our and the fans' stories. Since it’s our story, I could empathize even more.' She added, 'It’s a bright song, yet it somehow touched my heart. I recorded it more carefully with the feeling of making an important promise to the fans.' Previously, Moon Sua had paused activities for health reasons after the passing of her older brother, ASTRO's Moonbin, last April, and Sukyung also paused activities for health reasons last June. With their long-awaited full group comeback, they conveyed a special determination. Sukyung expressed gratitude, saying, 'Until we fully recovered, our fans and members kept our empty seats and worked hard so that Billlie could shine again.' She added, 'I am grateful that we can all work together. We prepared very hard for this activity, so we hope for a lot of interest and love.' Moon Sua shared, 'When I reunited with the members after a long time, I was initially awkward and worried that I might feel the impact of the blank period, but when I returned, the members welcomed me, and I felt, 'We are the same group.' I am grateful to the members who kept the group strong. I want to spend happy times with them and connect more deeply.' Billlie has now entered their third year since debut. Haruna expressed her wish for the public's evaluation, saying, 'I always want to be told, 'Billlie is trustworthy and listenable.' I would be happy if our music and stage are recognized, and we can become a Billlie that can always be trusted and listened to.' Billlie will hold a world tour starting in Jersey City, USA, on November 15, covering 14 cities in North and South America. Moon Sua said, 'We will present our first American tour. We plan to greet fans with a different setlist from the European tour. Please look forward to it.' Billlie's new album includes double title tracks 'Memory Candy' and 'trampoline,' as well as 'Bluerose,' which expresses Billlie's image running towards an impossible blue dream in 1980s city pop, 'BTTB (Back to the Basics),' focusing on their unique side as they prepare to start anew with a bright and brave spirit, 'shame,' which shouts to sing one's true self rather than living trapped by others' gazes, and 'dream diary ~ etching mémoires of midnight rêverie,' which depicts meeting oneself beyond limits every night over a tropical house beat combined with alternative R&B, totaling six tracks.
