Felix of Stray Kids, following a donation of 100 million won (about 11 million yen), visited Laos. The UNICEF Korea Committee announced on the 18th that it will release a video of the UNICEF Laos field visit with Felix. The scheduled video, "UNICEF Log-in Laos - Stray Kids Felix Edition," will be first released on the UNICEF Korea Committee's YouTube channel on March 21. The video captures various emotions and activities of Felix interacting with local children in Laos. In addition to the donation, he visited the UNICEF project site and showed interest and affection for the children. He visited the UNICEF-supported health center and school in the Attapu region of southern Laos from February 5 for about a week, providing nutritional status checks and therapeutic food, participating in activities such as handwashing education, language, dance, and play, and spending time with the children. Attapu, where he visited, is a representative marginalized area of Laos with over 2,000 severely malnourished children. UNICEF regularly checks the nutritional status of children in Attapu, provides appropriate treatment and nutritional food, and deploys safe drinking water and sanitation facilities, handwashing education, and other activities to support the healthy growth of children. After his visit to Laos, Felix said, "I was able to face the reality of the children in Laos that I couldn't feel with just photos and text. I believe that all children should be given the opportunity to live a healthy life. I believe that children who have enjoyed such opportunities will grow up to support and love children again. I was truly happy to be able to convey the love I received from fans to the children through this opportunity." UNICEF Korea Committee Secretary-General Cho Mijin expressed gratitude to Felix for participating in UNICEF's activities to meet children even during his vacation. She said, "Through this video, we hope that more people will show warm interest in children who have been marginalized with Felix." Starting with the video to be released on March 21, three videos will be posted on the UNICEF Korea Committee channel every Thursday at 5 p.m. UNICEF is the only organization explicitly mentioned in the Convention on the Rights of the Child to promote the rights of children, and is a UN agency that carries out projects such as health, nutrition, drinking water, sanitation, education, protection, and emergency relief for children around the world. The UNICEF Korea Committee is the representative organization of UNICEF in Korea, raising funds for children around the world and promoting the rights of Korean children through projects such as "Child-Friendly City Initiative (CFCI)."
