Kep1er’s Yongun announced her departure from the group and conveyed her feelings to fans. Yongun stated through her Instagram yesterday (7th), 'Thanks to the excessive love you have sent since our debut in 2022, I was able to stand on stage as Seo Yongun, shining in every moment, and all those memories felt like a dream to me.' She revealed, 'Although team activities will end, all the time spent with Kep1er and Kep1ians (Kep1er fans) is like an irreplaceable treasure to me.' She continued, 'I plan to prepare to write a cool new chapter for Seo Yongun. To everyone who has waited and will wait, I will show a more grown-up version of myself, so until the day we meet again, I hope you all stay healthy in body and mind. I love you from the bottom of my heart, thank you,' promising to reunite. Earlier on the 6th of this month, her agency WAKEONE and KLAP Entertainment announced that 'Yongun will end her team activities,' explaining that the group will continue with six members. Kep1er is a group formed through Mnet's 'Girls Planet 999: Girls Festival.' Yongun had temporarily suspended activities last July due to health issues, which prevented her from participating in Kep1er's comeback activities and concert tours.
