At the press conference, the members, dressed in classic attire, took the stage alongside prominent artists. Sub-leader FUMA expressed, 'As a group that started from Japan, participating in the 'Kouhaku Uta Gassen' has been one of our goals and dreams. We are honored to be able to participate this time. After about three years since our debut, we want to perform moment by moment so that our fans, LUNÉ (the fans of &TEAM), can be proud of us, and to not bring shame to the history of the program.' Member JO, who was absent due to individual schedule conflicts, commented, 'It is an honor to be confirmed to participate in the 'Kouhaku Uta Gassen' in our third year since debut. The theme is 'Connecting, Being Connected, New Year's Eve.' As a group that aims to connect diverse worlds and people, we feel grateful for this connection. We will show the best performance that makes everyone proud, saying, 'There was such a group in Japan,' with all nine members present!' &TEAM debuted in 2022 as a global group aiming for 'Japan to Global.' In 2024, they plan to release four works themed around the four seasons, continuing their energetic activities and aiming to become a group that takes flight from Japan to the world. In 2025, they achieved their first million with their 3rd single 'Go in Blind (Tsuki Okami).' Continuing their momentum, they made their debut in Korea, achieving a million on the first day of release, a first for a Japanese artist. With their debut at Kouhaku confirmed at the end of 2025, they are set to take the stage on New Year's Eve, symbolizing a year of leaps forward.
