BLACKPINK is preparing for a comeback with a new album. Today (11th), BLACKPINK's agency YG ENTERTAINMENT commented to Newsen about BLACKPINK's comeback, saying, 'We will reveal more through official promotions.' On this day, a Korean media outlet reported that BLACKPINK is scheduled to release a new mini-album in November. If BLACKPINK confirms the November comeback, it will be their first new album in about 3 years and 2 months since the release of their 2nd full album 'BORN PINK' in September 2022. Celebrating their 9th anniversary this year, BLACKPINK released the digital single 'JUMP' on July 11, which topped major music streaming charts in Korea and overseas. With this new song, BLACKPINK recorded 1st place on the US Billboard 'Global 200' and 'Global (excluding the US)' charts, and ranked 28th on the 'HOT 100'. They also achieved their highest ranking at 18th on the UK Official Singles Chart. BLACKPINK is currently on their 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR', which includes 31 shows in 16 cities. They successfully kicked off their performances at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium, followed by shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, and Barcelona. Upcoming performances are planned in stadiums around the world, including London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Bruno Mars made a surprise appearance at BLACKPINK's LA concert, singing the hit song 'APT.' BLACKPINK's new song 'JUMP' has set a record for the most number one hits on the US Billboard charts for a K-Pop girl group.
