Momo of TWICE purchased a luxury villa in Achul Village, Guri City. According to a report from My Daily on October 31, Momo bought a luxury villa with a floor area of 221 square meters (about 67 tsubo) in Achong-dong, Guri City, Gyeonggi Province for 4.27 billion won (about 427 million yen). It is reported that she paid the full amount in cash at the time of signing the contract. There are no registered mortgages, and the purchase was made entirely in cash without external financing. This building is a luxury villa of a rural residential type completed in 2023, forming an ultra-small community where only eight households can reside, scaled from two underground floors to four above ground. The security system is thorough, equipped with a private access road, and is known for excellent privacy protection, making it a favored place for celebrities and notable figures. The residence Momo purchased is of the 'Natural Terrace Type' and is said to have three bedrooms, one study, three bathrooms, and a personal garden. Actress Han So-hee purchased a multi-layer penthouse in the same villa for 5.2 billion won (about 520 million yen) last year, and Nana (from AFTERSCHOOL) bought a similarly sized residence for 4.2 billion won (about 420 million yen) earlier this year, making them neighbors. Achul Village has long been famous as an 'artist village' where literati and painters have stayed. The late novelist Park Wan-so and the late painter Lee Seong-ja lived there, and currently, actors Hyun Bin & Son Ye-jin, Oh Yeon-soo, Park Jin-young (J.Y. Park), and H.O.T.'s Moon Hee-jun have established their bases there.
