This is the third music video of SUGA's as Agust D to reach over 100 million views, following the title tracks 'Agust D' and 'Daechwita' from his MIX TAPE and 'D-2,' respectively. 'Haegeum' is a hip-hop genre song that samples the sound of the traditional Korean instrument, the haegeum. It combines the meaning of the instrument's name and the term 'haegeum,' which means 'to lift a ban,' expressing the theme of 'freedom.' The music video features a noir film-like atmosphere with a detailed story and tense direction, leaving a strong impression with the dramatic confrontation and conclusion between the characters 'Being' and 'Exister.' Furthermore, 'D-DAY' is the final chapter of the 'Agust D Trilogy,' following 'Agust D' and 'D-2.' Agust D wrote, composed, and produced all the songs on this album, leading the overall work from planning to concept and structure, expressing his own musical world. This album, infused with Agust D's identity, achieved the remarkable feat of reaching second place on the US Billboard 200 main album chart (dated May 6, 2023) upon its release.
