SEVENTEEN's Hoshi has made a donation again. According to the Gyeonggi (Gyeonggi) Northern Love and Pledis Entertainment, Hoshi donated 100 million won (about 10 million yen) to Gyeonggi Northern Love today (7th) for poor children and adolescents in Korea and abroad. Gyeonggi Northern Love reflects Hoshi and his family's desire to send a good influence to overseas as well as Korea, and plans to use this donation for the classroom support project of overseas national orphan schools. Hoshi said, "I want to convey the love I received from the fans who gave me a lot of love through this donation," and revealed, "I hope that poor children and adolescents in Korea and abroad will grow up healthy and become artists who will continue to have a good influence in the future." Hoshi's donation is not the first time. Starting with a scholarship donation to his alma mater in 2020, he has continued his generous donation activities worthy of his nickname "Tiger." In May 2021, SEVENTEEN celebrated its 6th anniversary and donated money to GoodNeighbors to support abused children. In June 2021, he donated 100 million won to the Namyangju City Welfare Foundation to commemorate his 26th birthday. He heard that the spread of the new coronavirus infection has been prolonged, and that donations from companies and individuals have decreased, and that the number of people who need support in the local community has increased, so he took the lead in making a donation. With this donation, Hoshi became a member of the "Owner Society," a high-donor club of Northern Love. In addition, in November 2021, he sponsored 10,000 pieces of charcoal for low-income residents living in Namyangju City, his hometown. In September 2022, he donated books worth 50 million won (about 5 million yen) to the Lee So-gyeong New Media Library, a music new media specialized library located in Namyangju City. The donation activities as a member of SEVENTEEN are also steadily continuing. Last year, he collaborated with the UNESCO Korea Committee to hold an event to donate proceeds from font sales to educationally vulnerable people in Africa and Asia. Hoshi made his debut as a member of SEVENTEEN in May 2015. He has produced many hit songs such as "Adore U," "MANSAE," "Pretty U," "VERY NICE," "HIT," "Left & Right," "HOME; RUN," "HOT," "Super," and "God of Music," and has grown into a global artist representing the K-POP world. He has also emerged as a solo artist. In April 2021, Hoshi released his first solo mixtape "Spider." He fully demonstrated his abilities as SEVENTEEN's performance leader by participating in the production process such as lyrics and performances. ・SEVENTEEN Hoshi donates about 5 million yen worth of books to his hometown library...
