SBS's educational current affairs program 'Kininara Hanashi Y' is expected to cover the sexual crime incident involving Tail. On the 7th, 'Kininara Hanashi Y' announced, 'We are interviewing Mr. Moon, a former member of a famous idol group in his 30s, who is suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in a drunken state along with two acquaintances, under the charge of special quasi-rape.' They added, 'We are waiting for contact from those who know about the incident and those who have been victimized by Mr. Moon.' On the same day, it was revealed through the media that Tail's suspicion was of special quasi-rape, causing shock. It appears they requested information regarding this. Tail was reported to have been accused in June of sexually assaulting a drunken woman with two acquaintances. Special quasi-rape is established when two or more people engage in sexual intercourse with a partner who is unable to resist due to possession of a weapon or loss of mental or physical capacity. If the charges are confirmed, under South Korea's special law on the punishment of sexual violence crimes, he could face over seven years of imprisonment or life imprisonment. Regarding this matter, an official from his agency, SM Entertainment, showed a cautious attitude, stating, 'As this is an ongoing investigation, we cannot provide further details.' Tail's sexual crime was communicated through an official comment from SM Entertainment in August. They stated, 'We have recently confirmed the fact that Tail has been accused in a criminal case regarding sexual crimes. We were aware of the facts and recognized that the case is quite serious, leading us to determine that he can no longer continue team activities.
