Recently, amid suspicions that HYBE is associated with a cult, the meditation group "Tan World" mentioned in connection with this made a statement. On the 1st, the meditation group Tan World announced an "official comment on the HYBE controversy" through its official YouTube channel. Tan World commented, "While entertainment agency HYBE and ADOR's Min Hee-jin are continuing to battle over the truth, suddenly, there are rumors of a connection with the meditation group Tan World," and stated, "Tan World Co., Ltd. clarifies that such reports are baseless." They denied the religious suspicions. They also expressed frustration, saying, "We plan to take strong legal action against the reckless spread of fake news that seeks to discredit Tan World, cause damage to our operations, and result in economic losses," and "Many people are reacting to sensational and intentionally false information as they seek the truth." They emphasized, "We will take firm legal action against those who tarnish Tan World's reputation with lies and create unfounded fake news," and "The members of BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) who graduated from Global Cyber University hope not to be harmed by absurd and false information. BTS and Tan World have no relationship." Finally, they added, "Tan World has no relationship with HYBE. We plan to take legal action against the unjust rumors currently circulating." Prior to this, BIGHIT MUSIC also recently released a statement regarding suspicions surrounding BTS. On the 28th of last month, BIGHIT MUSIC stated, "Recently, there have been numerous organized movements to defame and secretly attack the honor of BTS. Along with this, there has been excessive slander, defamation, spreading of false information, reckless insults, and mockery directed at the artists," and "We have determined that this matter seriously infringes on the honor of the artists, and in addition to the conventional legal measures, we plan to respond rigorously by appointing a separate law firm. We will apply a principle of intolerance to those involved, without leniency or agreement." BTS, the alma mater of the six members, commented on the suspicions, stating, "There is no connection with any specific organization." BIGHIT MUSIC denied various suspicions surrounding cults and BTS, and announced a firm response.
