NewJeans sent a content certification to their agency ADOR and achieved two crowns at the '1st KOREA GRAND MUSIC AWARDS'. On November 16, in Incheon at Inspire Arena, the '1st KOREA GRAND MUSIC AWARDS' (hereafter 'KGMA') was held. On this day, NewJeans received the grand prize, '2024 Grand Artist'. After receiving the award, member Minji said, 'It has been two years since NewJeans debuted. In these two years, we have met many people, experienced a lot, and learned a lot. Today was also a meaningful learning opportunity. There were many fun times, but also tough issues we had to discuss all night. Through such experiences, I think the five members have united and become a better team.' She continued, 'Thanks to Bunnies (the name of NewJeans' fans) who always support us, we can always do our best to prepare for the stage. Thank you. And I also want to thank our managers and staff who lend us great strength in small ways. I want to express my gratitude to our representative (former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin) who gives us the power to unite and move forward. I don't know if you are watching now, but I want to say thank you.' Minji added, 'I was very happy to be able to showcase a good and fun stage with the members and Bunnies today. NewJeans will continue to come with wonderful music and new appearances, so please always expect and support us.' Just as Minji was about to conclude her thoughts, Hani left a meaningful comment, saying, 'Since I keep talking about thanking Bunnies, you might think I'm not serious, but I am. We don't know how long we can be NewJeans, but I believe nothing can hinder the bond between these five and Bunnies, so let's stay united until the end.' Daniel also mentioned, 'Even if we are not NewJeans, NewJeans will Never Die.' They previously referred to former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin at the moment they received the 'Best Artist' award. Herin began, 'Thank you. I believe we could receive this award thanks to everyone who always supports, cheers for, and believes in us.' Herin mentioned 'the staff of ADOR who always support us,' but later corrected it to 'our staff.' She then said, 'Thank you to representative Min Hee-jin and all the Bunnies who supported us today.' Daniel added, 'I also want to thank representative Min Hee-jin who always protects us. I want to be together forever.' On the 13th, NewJeans sent a content certification to ADOR requesting correction of contract violations. They expressed that if the violations are not corrected within 14 days from the receipt of the content certification, they will terminate the contract. In response, ADOR stated, 'First, regarding the content certification, we received it this morning and are currently reviewing it, and we are understanding the specific requests. We intend to solve it wisely and do our best to continue with the artist.'
