The production of BLACKPINK's new album has reached a critical stage. YG ENTERTAINMENT announced today (16th) to My Daily that 'since this is an album that BLACKPINK will release after a long time, we are doing our best in production to enhance its quality,' and added, 'detailed information including the release date will be communicated through official promotions.' Earlier on this day, a media outlet reported that BLACKPINK will release a new album in mid-December. According to this, they initially aimed for a comeback in October or November but changed the schedule. The last album released by BLACKPINK as a complete group was the 2nd full album 'BORN PINK' in September 2022. The new song 'JUMP,' released last July, was a digital single, and if the new album is released in December, it will be their first new album in about three years, and anticipation is already high.
