ATEEZ’s SAN and WOOYOUNG showed off their exceptional friendship. On the recently released popular YouTube channel TEO content “Salon Drip,” SAN and WOOYOUNG appeared. When SAN said, “I came back from Milan today,” MC Jang Do-yeon said, “This morning’s news said, ‘ATEEZ’s SAN directly explains dating rumors.’ It’s today’s recording, and of all things,” bringing up the dating rumor that surfaced while SAN was on schedule in Milan. About this, SAN explained, “I was caught going to buy a smartphone case with a staff member,” and WOOYOUNG reacted to SAN’s dating rumor by saying, “That’s impossible.” SAN conveyed the reactions around him, saying, “Mean people followed behind us and took pictures. It seems things like this happen when you become successful. Everyone around me said the same thing.” Jang Do-yeon also agreed, saying, “When you become successful, all kinds of commotion happen,” and SAN responded, “It was funny,” once again explaining that the dating rumor was not true. WOOYOUNG surprised people by revealing that he still has skinship with his mother. He said, “I’m a son like a daughter,” and said, “I still hold my mother’s hand and kiss her on the mouth. I say I love you. I hug her and link arms with her. Since my real youngest sibling, who is 16 years younger, was born, I inherited that role.” In addition, SAN and WOOYOUNG also talked about having friendship tattoos. The two said they have never once regretted their friendship tattoos, and showed off their extraordinary bond. It was WOOYOUNG who first tried to get a tattoo, and he suggested to SAN, “Let’s do it together,” and the two engraved a Spanish phrase meaning, “We are friends until just before we go into the coffin, and even when we are in the coffin, we are friends.” SAN said, “When I went to the hotel sauna, I had a tattoo on my thigh, so a Spanish person spoke to me. They asked, ‘Isn’t that Spanish? It must be a tattoo about friends, right?’” By the way, among fans, this friendship tattoo is called “Yeombyeongus” (a coined word that plays on the Korean word for “disease,” “yeombyeong,” and “gongsu,” meaning the bond between friends). Because the two look so close, it is a joking term used to tease them as being “a world of just the two of them.” When Jang Do-yeon asked, “If time passes and you have a family and a lover. If you are told to erase ‘Yeombyeongus,’ would you erase it?” WOOYOUNG answered, “Then I wouldn’t make a wife or lover.” Jang Do-yeon teased SAN, saying, “Don’t make a face like you’ve been confessed to,” and asked, “What if it were someone truly important who said that?” Then SAN answered, “If it were someone I truly loved, I would persuade them.” However, when WOOYOUNG asked, “What if they said you can’t get married until you erase it?” SAN also answered, “I don’t think I could date someone with that kind of belief.” WOOYOUNG said, “Someone I respect once said, ‘If you want to know what kind of person someone is, look at their friend.’ For me, that friend is SAN. Denying SAN is denying me,” revealing deep trust and affection for SAN. When SAN teased, “You just sounded like ‘I can’t live without you,’” WOOYOUNG joked back, “I can’t live without you,” and Jang Do-yeon made people laugh by joking, “Go to the back and kiss.” WOOYOUNG described SAN as “a friend who leads me on the right path,” repeatedly showing deep affection. • From ATEEZ to Hearts2Hearts!
