ATEEZ held “2026 ATEEZ FANMEETING ATINY'S VOYAGE : TINY MYSTERY IN JAPAN” at K Arena Yokohama on August 4, 5, and 6. The August 5 performance has been decided to air on WOWOW Live on October 17! We will dig deeply into the highlights of this performance, which was even more powerful than their first Japan fan meeting held in Tokyo in August 2024, and into the charm of ATEEZ, who never cease to fascinate fans around the world. “BAD” becomes a huge hit worldwide! Approaching the secret of its popularity ATEEZ’s title track “BAD” from their 14th mini album “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5,” released in Korea this June, became a worldwide smash hit. Their performance, hot and surging to Latin sounds and rhythms, yet cool and sexy, captivated people of all ages and genders around the world, and challenge videos were created not only in Korea but in countries all over the world. This October, they will mark their 8th anniversary since their Korean debut, and even before “BAD,” they were well known not only in Korea and Asia but also in Europe and the United States. About four months after their debut, they held the world tour “THE EXPEDITION TOUR,” traveling through the United States, Europe, Australia, and more. Their 2023 release “THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL” debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200. In 2024, they became the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella, the largest music festival in the United States, and they boast world-class popularity. In Japan as well, they appeared at “SUMMER SONIC 2024” that same year and thrilled many audience members. In 2025, starting at Saitama Super Arena, they held the arena tour “ATEEZ 2025 WORLD TOUR [IN YOUR FANTASY] IN JAPAN,” with 7 performances across 3 cities. The secret of their popularity lies in ATEEZ’s overwhelming performance ability and grand worldview. Since “Pirate King,” one of the title tracks from their 1st mini album “TREASURE EP.1 : All To Zero,” pirate-themed staging has left a strong impression on ATEEZ’s performances, but their excellent direction and inventive ideas were also evident in the survival program “KINGDOM : LEGENDARY WAR,” which aired in 2021. Furthermore, they pursue a wide variety of music, including sounds rooted in Latin and traditional Korean music. Their high level of performance ability, which embodies both of these on stage, creates explosive reactions and excitement from the audience. Exciting cover stages! From legendary K-pop to Japanese idol songs In this “2026 ATEEZ FANMEETING ATINY'S VOYAGE : TINY MYSTERY IN JAPAN,” not only ATEEZ’s performances but also their unpretentious side full of fan service can be felt. One of the good things about a fan meeting is being able to glimpse the members’ true selves. Here, I would like to list the highlights of the event. The event began with “Ghost,” opening with a production as if they had leapt out from a painting. The highly polished stage was like watching their concert, but the cover stages that would be impossible at a concert are also part of the appeal of a fan meeting. SAN and WOOYOUNG performed TVXQ’s “Mirotic” wearing suits directly on their bare skin, and the venue went wild with a “Trouble Maker” cover in which MINGI sang Hyuna’s part from 4Minute and SEONGHWA sang Hyunseung’s part from BEAST. Even after the stage ended, the excitement did not subside, and SAN and WOOYOUNG, who appeared on stage afterward, even said, “Those two are insane!” YUNHO and JONGHO sang The Jadu’s “대화가 필요해 (We Need To Talk)” with the lyrics changed into Japanese, and there was even a moment when JONGHO forgot the lyrics midway, prompting YUNHO to sing, “Remember the lyrics,” as a playful retort while singing. HONGJOONG and YEOSANG, in cute pink-and-brown checkered outfits, sang and danced to KARA’s “Pretty Girl” and ran to the center stage, stunning ATINY (the fans). At the end of the cover stages, all the members changed into colorful prince-like outfits and performed CUTIE STREET’s “Kawaii Dake Ja Dame Desu ka?” The special stage unique to a Japanese fan meeting brought the excitement in the venue to its peak. The punishment game is also a must-see! ATEEZ you can’t see on stage on WOWOW In the game corner, the members’ desperate efforts to complete the missions assigned to each of them drew laughter. After all the members cleared their missions, they performed the killing part of “BAD” in a mystery version as a reward. However, because the condition was “at 1.5x speed, with bright smiles,” some members looked confused, used heart-shaped origami as props, and showed sides of ATEEZ that are not usually seen on stage. That day, while being helped by MC Masayuki Furuya, who appeared as a “butler,” the members also made a strong impression by speaking earnestly in Japanese on their own. In the team competition, with four members per team, they played a variety of well-crafted games, such as using a punching machine and guessing song titles from emojis that represented the meaning of lyrics, and the members enjoyed competing. At the end, HONGJOONG and SAN represented their teams in a showdown with CUTIE STREET’s “Purikyukyu,” and HONGJOONG won thanks to the loudness of ATINY’s cheers. The losing team—YUNHO, SAN, MINGI, and WOOYOUNG—changed clothes live behind a screen set up on stage, reappeared wearing unique headpieces such as swans and pink hair, and performed a cute version of “BAD.” In the VCR created in connection with the first song, “Ghost,” the members became “Ghosteez” and created a daily routine, thought up coordination using the members’ private clothes, and introduced a more approachable side of themselves, different from their charismatic stage selves. In the fortune-telling corner using tarot cards, SAN and MINGI, YUNHO and YEOSANG, HONGJOONG and WOOYOUNG, and SEONGHWA and JONGHO explained each other, showed charm toward ATINY, and carried out free talk. In the end, they even told the fortune of ATEEZ and ATINY’s destiny, making it a video that let viewers feel the depth of ATEEZ’s love for ATINY. There was also a stage for “Star 1117,” titled after November 17, ATINY’s birthday. It was a Japan fan meeting that made it clear that ATEEZ created everything with all their heart for ATINY.
