Onew of SHINee denied the fact that he received illegal medical treatment from Mr. A, known as 'Injection Aunt.' Griffin Entertainment, to which Onew belongs, recently made a comment regarding the relationship with Mr. A that surfaced due to Park Na-rae's allegations, stating, 'We will convey our official position to clarify the facts regarding the relationship between our artist Onew and Mr. A.' They emphasized that 'Onew first visited the hospital in Seoul's Sinsa-dong where Mr. A works in April 2022 through an introduction from an acquaintance. Considering the scale and situation of the hospital at that time, it was difficult to recognize the current allegations of 'unlicensed medical practice' being discussed online. Onew's purpose for visiting the hospital was skincare, and he gave a signed CD as a token of gratitude for the treatment.' They added, 'We express our deep regret that false information regarding our artist is being indiscriminately spread. We hope that no further speculation arises and will continue to do our best to protect the artist's honor and rights.' It has been revealed that Mr. A, known as 'Injection Aunt' by Park Na-rae, had connections with many celebrities, and it drew attention that Onew also gave a signed CD with a handwritten message to Mr. A. However, Onew denied any friendship with Mr. A and explained that he has no relation to the allegations of unqualified medical practices currently being discussed. Prior to this, it became known that Park Na-rae received injections from Mr. A, who was confirmed not to hold a medical license in South Korea, leading to controversy. She explained that she recognized the practitioner as a medical professional but was accused of violating drug management laws, prompting the Gangnam police in Seoul to initiate an investigation.
