SEVENTEEN’s Jun has been chosen as the protagonist of the Chinese film Rebirth 2, and is fully beginning activities in the Chinese film industry. According to Pledis Entertainment today (the 21st), Jun will play the role of Su Cheng, the protagonist, in the film Rebirth 2, which will be released in China on October 3. In the work, he is a person who wanders around various parts of China for a long time in order to find his missing younger brother. Jun is scheduled to show a new acting transformation by not only delicately expressing the character’s complex story and emotions, but also performing splendid action that heightens the tension of the work. Rebirth 2 depicts the story of a man and a woman uncovering a huge conspiracy surrounding a criminal organization and embarking on revenge with their lives on the line. Jun will lead the story together with actress Isabella Leong, who appeared in the film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. In addition, Hong Jinbao, a master of the Hong Kong action film world, and Bai Ke, who has been drawing attention for his distinctive acting, also join the cast and add further strength to the work. SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua, forming the new unit JxJ, will release their first mini album, “DREAMSCAPE,” on Oct. 19, 2026, and begin their Asia tour on Oct. 30.
