CNBLUE has made a comeback with a full album that incorporates the team's identity. On January 7, CNBLUE released their 3rd full album "3LOGY" through various music distribution sites and unveiled the music video for the title track "Killer Joy." The 3rd full album "3LOGY" tells a story of the band's identity they have maintained, the time they have walked, the present, and the direction they will move forward. The album consists of 10 tracks, all self-composed by the members, enhancing its completeness. The title track "Killer Joy" is a pop genre song with a dramatic and dynamic development based on a modern sense, boldly declaring to leave only pure fun with CNBLUE's unique energy. -- You have made a comeback with the 3rd full album "3LOGY," how do you feel? Jung Yonghwa: I think this is the album I put the most effort into since it's been a while since we released a full album. I tried to incorporate my worldview that I have built up until now into the album. Kang Minhyuk: It's been a while since we made a comeback with a full album. I'm excited because we can showcase a lot of music in one album. Lee Jungshin: I'm thrilled and nervous to be able to release the album without further delay. -- Please introduce the 3rd full album "3LOGY." Jung Yonghwa: If our previous albums focused on the public, this time we focused on ourselves. I think we can show CNBLUE's inner self well. Kang Minhyuk: The meaning of the album is that the three axes created by us come together to form one system, and everything was born in balance and harmony. Lee Jungshin: We decided on the album name based on the meaning of the three members being the axis and all tracks are self-composed by the members. -- Why did you choose "Still, a Flower" as a pre-released song and "Killer Joy" as the title track? Jung Yonghwa: I thought there weren't many songs that could give people energy and healing, but I thought "Still, a Flower" was a perfect song for the New Year. I hope this song helps people realize their existence and look around them. I also hope it becomes a chance to understand what love is. Lee Jungshin: We pre-released "Still, a Flower" on New Year's Day, and I felt that everyone needed comfort during this time, so it naturally became the choice. I wanted the title track to be fundamentally fun. I liked the demo version of "Killer Joy" from the moment I heard it, so we decided on it as the title track. -- All members participated in the songwriting for this album. Are there differences in musical styles among the members? I would also like to know how you think about each other's music. Jung Yonghwa: The members have different personalities and pursue different music styles. However, since our goals are similar, we discuss a lot about it. Kang Minhyuk: The music style varies depending on each member's emotions, thoughts, and personal preferences at the time, but we work while thinking about the team's music. Lee Jungshin: It's hard to express in words, but I think even if each style is different, the album is completed while respecting each other's colors. -- Please tell us any memorable episodes during the music video shoot. Jung Yonghwa: I remember having a lot of fun during the shoot. I think we finished with a music video that has a different atmosphere than before, so I'm very satisfied. Kang Minhyuk: I tried bolder angles and expressions to express fun, and I was happy that it was captured well. The reactions on set were good, and it was more enjoyable than previous drum shoots. Lee Jungshin: I worked hard to shoot with a burning passion. It was fun to shoot everything, from the performance scenes to the acting moments. -- What kind of image do you want to show through this activity, and what reactions do you want to hear or goals do you want to achieve? Jung Yonghwa: Rather than the success of the album, the biggest goal is to show how CNBLUE has grown. Kang Minhyuk: I want to see everyone who listens to our music having fun and getting excited. Lee Jungshin: I hope this album will allow people to feel the team's growth in various aspects, not just in music. I want many people to listen to it. -- You have a world tour with the same name as this album coming up, how do you feel? Please tell us what to expect. Jung Yonghwa: I feel happy to be able to continue with the tour and performances. I'm really looking forward to what kind of image we can show. Kang Minhyuk: I'm grateful that we can have many stages. I will show all of that gratitude through music on stage. Lee Jungshin: This time, the setlist is expected to be richer. I hope it will be a tour where we can visit more places, showcase our music directly, and convey that energy well. -- Since last year, you have been receiving a lot of attention at university festivals and events, do you feel that popularity? Also, what do you think is CNBLUE's unique driving force? Jung Yonghwa: I think it's the skills we have built up through our performances so far. There are still many people who don't know us well, so I think our task is to convey that to them. Kang Minhyuk: I think many people like the energy we show on festival stages. At the same time, it seems that they empathize with what we want to convey through various musical atmospheres, and I'm very grateful for that. Lee Jungshin: I think the fans who believe in and support us are our reason for existence and driving force. And the members' passion to continue moving forward is the same. -- Before we know it, we are entering our 17th year since debut. I think you have had many opportunities to meet junior groups through various activities, what kind of senior do you want to be? Jung Yonghwa: I would be happy if we are remembered as a team that has tried to convey the charm of band music to as many people as possible. Kang Minhyuk: I want to be a senior who can show the way to continue music for a long time. Lee Jungshin: While preparing for this album, I feel like I have had more opportunities to meet many juniors. I want to be a presence where we can share various stories and thoughts casually, not just as seniors and juniors, but as companions who create music together. -- Finally, please say a word to BOICE (CNBLUE's fans) who always support you. Jung Yonghwa: Thank you so much, BOICE. Thanks to you, making music is enjoyable, and I feel the reason to continue making music. Please continue to give us a lot of love in 2026. Kang Minhyuk: Thank you for supporting CNBLUE's music and activities since 2010. We will continue to repay you with music and performances. Thank you. Lee Jungshin: We put a lot of thought and heart into this album, so I hope you enjoy listening to it! I hope to see you more this year than last year!! I love you, thank you.
