BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) RM was injured before the comeback performance. The agency BIGHIT MUSIC announced today (20th) through Weverse that "RM injured his ankle during rehearsal on the 19th and was moved to the hospital for detailed examination and treatment. The examination results diagnosed him with painful external malleolus and partial ligament rupture and talus sprain (ligament damage and inflammation), and after putting a cast on his foot, the medical team advised that he should focus on recovery while minimizing movement for at least two weeks." They added, "Since it is a comeback stage in a symbolic space called Gwanghwamun, the artist's strong will to create a high-quality performance was very strong, but we prioritized the medical team's diagnosis and made the difficult decision to minimize RM's movements during 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG' to prevent worsening of the injury." As a result, RM's choreography and some performance aspects will be limited. The agency stated, "Although there are limitations on the performance, RM will participate on stage within possible limits and interact with ARMY (the name of the fans) and the audience."
